Everyone visiting our labs tells us their unique meanings of reading

During the last conference on Children, Youth and School Libraries held in our Lab in Salamanca, debates were raised about the meaning of reading in our days. We talked occasionally within our reading clubs or among friends who share experiences every day in our schools. From now on we want to talk about the significance of reading in our time.
Somehow, melting all the ideas from different professional fields and personal feelings we may build a comprehensive building to house the contemporary significance of the reading.
We would like if you also share with us your views as the following (see video) experts did.

Chris Meade

Mariona Martinez: “Reding is knowledge, but now with the social network it’s sharing too”

Dolors Bundó: “Above all sort of things reading is the best gift you do to yourself”â

Javier Celaya: Reading in the digital society will be the ability to access knowledge through some skills”
