GSR Fondation set up a new survey on kids with hearing impairment and reading

The research aims to find out enough information on the perception of reading have the hearing impaired teenagers.
Once again the GSR Foundation undertakes also a whole qualitative investigation to determine the influence on that perception due to social environment next to them: parents and educators (teachers, interpreters and speech therapists).
This project focuses in:
  • Know the sort of values that the families link to reading.
  • Unveil the reading habits among teenage hearing impaired.
  • Evaluate the access to reading and what kind of barriers challenges them.
  • Explore ways to ease access and foster their reading skills and behavior.
