The University of Texas at San Antonio is joining the initiatives that some educational institutions are already developing to move the concept of library toward increasingly virtual models. The novelty, in this case, is that in the library collection there are no printed materials.
Among the obvious advantages that this initiative provides to users, can be pointed out the greater commitment and personalized attention of library staff toward students, as well as the availability of the entire collection, as the system allows simultaneous access to the same material by different users.
